We offer a Call Sandwich solution, complete with the configuration and testing of your VoIP carriers, as well as training, ongoing support, and server monitoring. You can select your own carrier via BYOC or we would be happy happy to give you access to our Carriers at a discounted rate.
Call Sandwich can scale up to several thousands of concurrent calls, if you need a very high capacity voice broadcast system for your team, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
As long as you don’t go over your monthly allowance, you can make as many calls and send as many text messages as you like.
If you make more simultaneous calls than you have Call Sandwich subscriptions for your calls will not go through. If you consistently hit this threshold, we will reach out to you to discuss an upgrade.
The Call Sandwich system can be installed on your server if you have a business or technical need to do so, but there is no cost saving. Using our server guarantees capacity and we don’t charge anything extra for using our servers, as it’s all included in the price.
A carrier is a telecommunications company that provides the means by which telephone calls can be made (Call Termination). An operator of The Call Sandwich solution will need a carrier in order to make calls to their contacts. This is also known as a termination provider or ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider) You may use you own carrier via BYOC or we can provide you a discounted rate with one of our preferred carriers.
Call Sandwich offers discounted call termination depending on your needs. If you choose to use your own carrier, make sure that you inform them that you will be doing Voice Broadcasting as they may have to make special provisions to handle your capacity.
You can just provide us with your carrier’s identification number if you already have one or if you’re participating in the Bring Your Own Carrier program.
As long as the provider supports SIP, you can choose almost any of them. You must inform the carrier that you will be using Call Sandwich for voice broadcasting, which may result in calls that are relatively short in duration, as many carrier contracts prohibit carrying voice broadcasting calls and sending calls of relatively short duration over a carrier that does not allow them can result in significant financial penalties.
Keep in mind that voice broadcasting is probably not permitted on any limitless agreements or minute bundles.
To put it another way, the maximum number of active calls (including ringing time) is capped by your carrier.
Channel applications must match the maximum number of channels supported by your Call Sandwich system (often 100, 250, 500, etc.).
Answer Seize Ratio abbreviates as “ASR.” The percentage of incoming calls that were answered is calculated as a function of the total number of calls placed. The Answer Rate (ASR) is calculated as 100 times the percentage of incoming calls that were successfully handled.
For typical VoIP calls, an ASR of 70% or higher is desirable. However, ASRs tend to perform poorly when broadcasting voices, which can be due to factors such as a contact list that is out of date (with many numbers disconnected), carrier congestion, unanswered or busy destinations, or poor call quality.
Problems may exist if your ASR values deviate from the norm.
Time taken refers to how long it takes from the moment a call is made until it is ended.
The time it takes for someone to answer a call and hang up is measured in “billsecs.”
Therefore, the total ringing time is equal to Duration minus Billsec.
The sum of Billsec and the number of answered calls should square off with the call data records from your provider.
